Getting ready for summer!

They finally announced some Summer temperature in Belgium this week. After months of wearing a uniform of jeans and cashmere, we can finally look forward to wearing those summer dresses.

This picture was taken on our family getaway to Turkey a few weeks ago. Wearing my Polo Ralph Lauren shirtdress and flat sandals. Don’t you just love the flare of this simple dress?

How to create the perfect holiday suitcase?!

These pictures represent a classic Isabelle holiday outfit.
Neutral accessories and a denim jacket for chilly nights.

Are you always struggling with 7 outfits that need 7 different pairs of shoes? Well I was too until I decided to bring along only neutral accessories. They bring you a long, long way.

So I bring a pair of silver or gold heels, tan or nude heels and a pair of flat sandals! Not to forget a denim jacket that will keep you surprisingly warm on those typical cold nights when travelling.

So stop paying extra for those overweight bags and go for neutrals!

Happy travelling

My latest crush, lace beach dress

So last summer my beach outfits were all about playsuits and shorts, now I just love the lace and broderie Anglaise trend.

This dress was love at first sight, a huge crush! Added a white bikini and off we went.

The dress is available at H&M for only 14,99€! What a catch, right?

What is your favourite beach cover-up?

Pretty in pink

Growing up, I never was a pinky girl. My mum has a casual chic style and she projected her style on me so we weren’t the nailpainting kinda family.

Over the years I discovered I do like a little girly touch here and there so here I am in pink.

These Nikkie pants were on my wishlist for a while now but were sold out online. I finally had the time for a little Antwerp shopping spree this weekend and luckily the store still had my size. Tried it on and the rest is history!

So last Saturday night, this is how I looked!

Paris fashion week part 2

I still owed you my other outfit from Paris Fashion Week. God, it was hotter two weeks ago than it is now. Brrrrrr…

I chose for a soft palet of colors, pastel blue, pastel pink and white. A combo that never fails.

We went to see the Leonard show, a classic Parisian brand that had been forgotten over the years but on it’s comeback. Known for the floral design to get in a happy mood. However this collection had a sadder feel with lots of greys, fringes and wool. More pictures of the collection to come later on.

2014 was the year of Adidas Stan Smith, 2015 the year of Adidas Superstars, are you following the trends or do you still wear your classic Converse?
Seriously, I can’t make up my mind which sneakers to buy but I know I urgently need some white sneakers to start Spring!
Which ones do you prefer? Here are my favourites! Click on the + to see where to get them.

Paris Fashion week – outfit 1 for Balmain

image image

My first day in Paris for fashion week. I must say, I forgot a bit how crazy Paris was this time a year. The city is full of the most fashionable people and influencers. I didn’t know where to look first.
As for my previous and first fashion week experience, I opted for dresses. This time I stayed a bit more true to my daily life outfits.
So for the Balmain show, I wore my Balmain blazer (off course) with a grey jeans and my most comfi heels by Givenchy.

Into those rips at Materia!

When I first arrived at Materia private gym, I thought I was in Mr Grey’s playroom but Tiffany showed me the equipment was really used for sporty excercises ;-)

Wish I lived closerby, this concept has everything you need. A beautiful interior, a personal approach with possibility of private training sessions… A luxurious environment for the perfect work-out!
Unfortunately I forgot my camera so we did the best we could with my iPhone.

I wanted to show you that ripped jeans can already be worn. Just add another light color like camel, white or light pink and you’re good to go!

I added some sneakers for a casual look but at night, you’ll look fab in those sexy nude heels!

Whoop whoop, sales are coming up!

I loooooove sales! But if you are an impulsive buyer as myself, you need to have a plan!

I made a selection of shoes that every girl needs in her closet so sales are the perfect time to create your ultimate collection.

So I selected the following items :

1. Icons like the Valentino Rockstuds and the Givenchy Shark Locks. If you want them, just buy them even if the discount isn’t huge. They’re classics…

2. Black shoes and boots. A girl can never have enough black shoes. Admit, they are all so different! Flats, ankle boots, over-knee, knee-high,…

3. Sneakers. I like a good pair of Nikes but nothing beats a designer pair!

4. Sandals. Yes you heard me right, look forward to next spring and buy your sandals right now!
