The perfect transition piece!

Rather you wear them with heels, sneakers, flip flops or espadrilles, a maxi-skirt is always a good idea! Especially for Spring, think about covering those winterlegs but still feeling ready for Spring!

Who says you can’t wear sneakers with a skirt?!

So, sneakers with a miniskirt, not everyone’s cup of tea. In my eyes it changes the obvious boots and skirt combination.

Is your casual look:jeans with sneakers, just trade them for a miniskirt once in a while and you might be surprised by the result!

Love it or hate it, red leather!

As neutral as the brown leather was in my last post, how excessive this red is!

Ever since Balmain had red leather in their 2010 collection, it has been on my wishlist, especially with the officer inspired blazer. An amazing outfit, very Kate Moss-ish!

I came across these leather Theory pants a few years ago on TheOutnet , hesitated for a few minutes but finally decided to make the purchase. Honestly I’ve only worn them once or twice. It is a headturning piece, that’s for sure.

But now this officer’s jacket completes the outfit I had in mind when I got the pants, so they should come out more in the following winter months!

Love that oversized knit

image imageimageI love the trend of oversized knits. This legging has been in my closet for ages but couldn’t really find a proper outfit as I like fitted tops. But with this style a fitted top was a no-go.

So I got this sweater from Eric Bompard, a warm cosy cashmere knit. Just the way I like it.

Back to the leggings, it is so original the bottom is leather and the top is regular stretchy fabric. It was one of the pieces I got from, a webshop I check on a daily basis to see if they have new treasures on discount prices! A tip from a sales-hunter ;-)

Army green

Green and I have a love-hate relationship.

I wore it for many years as a high school uniform… Most of my friends swore never to wear green again.

However I still like the color but I don’t always know how to combine it. These leather pants have been in my closet for ages.

Black and green for me are a bit too dull, too dark. I prefer a lighter touch.

So today I think it turned out pretty well wearing my beige trench and my beige Rockstuds heels. The ideal outfit for pre-fall, don’t you think?

Pop Corn summer camp

Dinner at Pop Corn.

How great is this concept, a tent in the middle of a corn field for a pop-up restaurant. This was created by Volta, a great restaurant and bar in Ghent.

As we are having a cold August , I dressed rather practical and warm. Nothing worse then having cold during a soirée. I wore my favourite bikers by Sam Edelman, a simple Zara jeans and a nice warm scarf!

Pink + black

Cinderella meets biker!

Showing off my new maxi-skirt on the streets of Knokke!

When Smets shared their sales on Instagram, I couldn’t resist passing by, ‘just to have a look’. Yeah sure….

When I saw this skirt and noticed that it was my size left, no way I could resist.

I love the contrast of the soft pink and black, so I used it to create a Cinderella meets biker look!

Have a great weekend
