My latest crush, lace beach dress

So last summer my beach outfits were all about playsuits and shorts, now I just love the lace and broderie Anglaise trend.

This dress was love at first sight, a huge crush! Added a white bikini and off we went.

The dress is available at H&M for only 14,99€! What a catch, right?

What is your favourite beach cover-up?

White and polka dots!

My favourite pants of last summer! They didn’t see much sunlight last year as I combined them with black and it didn’t feel quite right, sure you know the feeling!

But things changed with this white blouse I got in Paris a few weeks ago. It gives the freshest touch on a lot of outfits. How did I ever survived without it?!

So note to myself : wardrobe essential : white flowy top!

Gingham style!

I told you before I really love gingham. I had to try a lot of different trousers until I found the right one, both cheap and expensive.

I added this one to my basket several times as I loved the colors and print but the fit in the picture wasn’t really flattering. Decided I’d give it a shot and I could’t be more pleased.

Combined it with the same neutral colors to let the trousers speak for themselves.

My pants are Zara but it seems I can’t share the link, find my other favourites just below!

Pretty in pink

Growing up, I never was a pinky girl. My mum has a casual chic style and she projected her style on me so we weren’t the nailpainting kinda family.

Over the years I discovered I do like a little girly touch here and there so here I am in pink.

These Nikkie pants were on my wishlist for a while now but were sold out online. I finally had the time for a little Antwerp shopping spree this weekend and luckily the store still had my size. Tried it on and the rest is history!

So last Saturday night, this is how I looked!

Time for my duster coat!

These post-winter days are just horror for original outfits. Today we finally had a little sun allthough it’s still supercold.
I am trying new lengths witht my duster coat, hanging in my closet for ages but so on trend right now!
Adding a clear blue jeans and white sneakers and bye bye winter feeling!

Maje Spring collection

The beginning of each season is so inspiring! Making outfits in our heads and adding pieces to those endless wishlists.

I am not the biggest fan of the Parisian chic brands like Maje or Sandro but I must say that this season’s lookbook by Maje made me dream of summer…

My personal favourite is the black maxi-skirt. I would wear it very casual with a simple V-neck t-shirt and sneakers or flat thongs…

Which item do you prefer?

Gotta love that flare

Flared jeansIMG_4483

My love for flared jeans has never stopped, it just gives an amazing silhouette as I explained in the Victoria Beckham article.

So when these babies and I met last week, no way I could walk out the store without them. They are by one of my favourite denim brands, Hudson Jeans (available at Carrément, Gent).

As usual, I used the Hermès scarf as a color palette for my outfit : black, white and brown for the shoes !

Ice blue and winter white

The “older” I get , the more comfy I want to be during daytime and the higher my heels need to be at night .

During the day I am so busy running around at the office, doing errands and jumping around for my little boy.. Seriously, my feet can’t handle 10 cm at that time.

But at night to meet friends, I love my precious heels! Preferably sky-high ;-)

As my light colors-obsession continues, I got this ice blue sweater at &Other stories last week. Not my favourite store because a lot of their items tend to be super wide but for basics in wool or cashmere, they really have nice stuff !

Time for a coat

We had an amazing Indian summer so far but next week temperature will drop.

So time to buy a new coat. A lot of us turn to black, because it is easy and safe.

If I had a free choice, I would buy a white one but as a mum of a three-year old, a white coat would be at the drycleaners on a weekly base. That’s why I chose camel.

Camel is the chicest color, seen in many brands this season. Mine is by Patrizia Pepe, available at the Brussels store!

More camel coats, later this week.

White white white

As every season, I have a favourite color, as you might have noticed, this season I am obsessed with white!

It is so fresh and bright in these gloomy days.

I created an all white outfit, inspired on the Ralph Lauren runway.
My oversized knit is by Rue Blanche and my skinny is Supertrash, the softest, stretchy fabric that keeps it shape very well! Love it!
